NBA Star, Zion Williamson

Zion Lateef Williamson was born on July 6, 2000. He is from Salisbury, S.C. His parents were both athletes. He was a tremendous basketball player growing up. Physically gifted. Zion had a level of athleticism few have ever possessed.

Blue Devil

The Duke Blue Devils are one of the most celebrated schools in all of college basketball. Williamson would play one season for the school, and his impact was felt. He would be named the National Player of the Year. Zion was one of the greatest prospects to suit up for the Blue Devils. He is an all-time great, in just a single season for the historic squad.

NBA

Despite only attending Duke for a season, his professional stock, after only one year, was through the roof. He declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft in April 2019. Zion would be taken with the first pick by the New Orleans Pelicans. The hype around him entering the league was huge. He has been able to show off his power and athleticism in the NBA. The biggest issue that faced Zion in the pros has been health. He has missed a lot of time, due to a variety of injuries. The Pelicans have struggled in his absence.

Zion is a Jordan Brand athlete. His Zion line of sneakers debuted in 2021. It is currently on its third iteration, the Zion 3. Zion has a unique style of play. A style that is both aggressive and aerial. His shoes are designed to manage his unique needs as an athlete.

2024

Zion is currently having a comeback season of sorts during the 2024 season. His health has been good, and he is in quite possibly the best shape of his life. The Pelicans are having a strong season and are contenders in the West. Zion is starting to live up to his phenomenal potential.
