Shoe Palace was honored to take part in a special community event that benefited the legacies of Kobe Bryant and Gianna Bryant. Learn more about the Nike Kobe VI Protro ‘Mambacita Sweet 16’ here.
On May 1, the Nike Kobe VI Protro ‘Mambacita Sweet 16’ was available exclusively at Shoe Palace Inglewood & Lakewood locations via a Digital Raffle. All the proceeds from the sales benefited the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation. Since 2020, Nike and the Nike Foundation have given more than $1 million to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.
The launch was tied to Gianna Bryant’s 16 Birthday. It has been more than two years now since Kobe and Gigi passed away. Their legacies continue to inspire. The Nike Kobe VI Protro ‘Mambacita Sweet 16’ is the first step in a renewed partnership between Vanessa Bryant and Nike. Nike and Bryant will also work together to establish a youth basketball center in Southern California.
