2. Enter your phone number

Follow the prompts to either sign in to an existing Zip account, or share a few details to get started.

3. Pay over time

If approved, a payment breakdown will be presented for your installment plan, and you will be asked to agree to Zip’s Terms & Conditions before placing your order.

4. Pay over time

Pay a portion of the purchase price and fee at time of purchase, and then make payments every 2 weeks until paid off.

What is Ζip?

Zip is a payment method that allows you to split nearly any purchase (including taxes, shipping charges, and finance charges) into easy payments, allowing you to buy the products you need now and to pay over time.

How does Zip work?

When you are ready to checkout, select Zip under “Payment” and follow the prompts to either sign in to an existing Zip account, or share a few details to get started. If approved, a payment breakdown will be presented for your installment plan, and you will be asked to agree to Zip’s Terms and Conditions before placing your order.

What information does Zip ask for?

Zip requires your legal name, address, date of birth, a U.S. mobile number, and a U.S. debit or credit card to sign up. Rather than having a traditional username and password, Zip requires a mobile phone number and text message verification to log in.

Who can use Zip?

To have an account, you must:

Live in the U.S. and have a valid U.S. mailing address. Zip does not accept mailing (or billing) addresses that are APO, FPO, AE PO, or P.O. Box

Be at least 18 years old

Have a valid and verifiable U.S. mobile number

Use a U.S. credit or debit card to make a purchase

How much does using Zip cost?

Customers may be charged finance charges, late fees, and/or convenience fees if applicable. For more information on finance charges, go to the Zip Help Center at https://help.us.zip.co/.

Zip offers access to two payment plans:

a. Pay-in-4 and Pay-in-8. Both plans have different numbers of installments, fees, and limits on how much can be spent.

b. Pay-in-8 charges are for original order amounts only; the finance charge is subject to change upon order partial refund.

Customers may be charged finance charges, late fees, and/or convenience fees if applicable.

Where can I see my Zip account information?

Once you’ve placed your order, you can easily manage your Zip payment information and view your estimated spending power through the Zip app on your mobile device.

When is my first payment due?

Your first payment for your purchase is due at the time of checkout. The remaining payments will be billed automatically over time. You will be able to see your payment schedule prior to the completion of your purchase.

Will I be notified before I am charged for a payment?

Zip notifies you with reminders three days and one day before each payment is due, with SMS and email. Access the Zip app to see your payment due dates or update your payment method.

Can I pay off my purchase early?

Access the Zip app or visit the Zip Help Center at https://help.us.zip.co/ for information about early repayment.

Can I have multiple purchases/orders at once with Zip?

It is possible to have multiple Zip orders at once. Each Zip purchase is reviewed separately for approval. You can manage your payments across multiple orders in the Zip app.

What if I have trouble paying?

How do I update my payment method?

All payments for your order will be charged to the payment method entered at checkout. If you need to change your payment method, you can do so in the Zip app or customer portal. For more information about how to change your payment method, visit the Zip Help Center at https://help.us.zip.co/.

How do returns, refunds and partial refunds work?

Zip payments (pay-in-4:

Payment amounts are estimates and exclude finance charges, tax, and shipping costs which will be added at checkout. Finance charges range from $4 to $7.50, depending upon the purchase price. The purchase is divided and charged equally over four payments. For example, for a $180 purchase with a $5 installment fee, you'd make four $46.25 payments every two weeks starting today for a total of payments of $185. The $5 installment fee would equate to an annual percentage rate of 48.28%. Late fees may apply.

Zip payments (pay-in-8):

Payment amounts are estimates and exclude finance charges, tax, and shipping costs which will be added at checkout. Finance charges range from $16 to $60, depending upon the purchase price. The purchase is divided and charged equally over eight payments. For example, for a $400 purchase with a $16 installment fee, you'd make eight $52 payments every two weeks starting today for a total of payments of $416. The $16 installment fee would equate to an annual percentage rate of 14.09%. Late fees may apply.
