Taking Over WWE
WWE superstar Rhea Ripley has been the talk of the wrestling world for some time now. Her character has changed a lot since she joined The Judgement Day. Now, she has her own independent persona. This development is very impressive and is quite different from her debut in 2017.
Beginnings
Australian wrestler Demi Bennett, best known as "Rhea Ripley," joined WWE in 2017 when she was just twenty years old. She started her wrestling career in 2013 through Riot City Wrestling and became a two-time RCW Women's Champion. Her stage presence and dedication were recognized as exceptional, which led to her WWE recruitment.
By 2018, Ripley had become NXT UK Women’s Champion and set her rebrand in motion. She cut the long blonde hair she had entered WWE with and started to lean towards more edgy gear. This new look continued in the same direction. It led to dyed black hair and joining The Judgement Day in 2022.
Today
The wrestler has racked up an impressive number of awards by the age of 28, including 1x NXT UK Champion, 1x NXT Women’s Champion, 1x Women’s Tag Team Champion, 1x Raw Women’s Champion, and 2x Women’s World Champion. She was also named Female Wrestler of the Year by ESPN in 2023.
During her 2024-2025 break from The Judgement Day, Ripley has been involved in many complex storylines. She is also growing her popularity as a face.
Fans understandably love Ripley, and this has made her one of the top female sellers of merchandise. She displays an extremely marketable persona that people cannot get enough of. Not only is the character loved by fans, but the person playing her is too. Her true personality shines through in interviews and has, of course, gained the admiration of Rhea Ripley fans.
