Ballerina Sneakers in 2026
It seems like we are not ready to leave the “sneakerina” trend in 2025. These fun hybrid shoes are dominating the fashion side of the internet and TikTok’s “it girl” style inspiration.
The Trend
Many brands have hopped on the ballet sneaker trend or have been putting them out for a while. One hidden gem is the rare vintage Nike Prep Low Profile Ballet Flat sneakers that are now only available from resellers.
These shoes encapsulate the look the trend is trying to go for. They have that desired slim silhouette and the unique shoelace structure that adds some individuality to one’s look. The ballerina sneaker at the top of today’s leaderboard is the Puma Speedcat Ballet.
Collabs
There also was a Puma X Wicked collaboration that mimics the silver slippers from the film. Adidas is also playing into the trend with their Adidas Originals Taekwondo Mei Ballet sneakers. These sneakers offer a low and slim silhouette with ankle wrapped laces, further mimicking the ballet look.
Bad Bunny
In 2025 Adidas Originals partnered with Latin pop singer and rapper Bad Bunny to release the Bad Bunny Ballerina sneaker. These sneakers were inspired by the original Adidas taekwondo model and combined the y2k look with modern design. The bungee laces really add to the look as well, increasing their uniqueness and appeal.
2026
At the end of 2025 UGG dropped their Quill Ballet Sneaker in three color ways including, red pepper, mustard seed, and chestnut. These shoes utilize UGG’s classic soft suede textures while including the bungee laces and ankle wrap style. If your wardrobe needs a little refresh or is in need of a feminine touch, definitely hop on the sneakerina trend in 2026.
