On August 18, Shoe Palace celebrated the release of its latest Marilyn Monroe apparel collection at the Shoe Palace store on Melrose. The event included an exhibit dedicated to the legendary actress. The rare items in the exhibit were provided by, “The Marilyn Monroe Collection,” the world’s largest, privately held collection of Marilyn Monroe memorabilia in the world. Included in the exhibit were shoes, dresses and makeup that was all owned by Marilyn Monroe. Shoe Palace wants to thank all the guests and vendors that made this launch celebration a success.
