SP Gina Sneaker Auction
Shoe Palace has partnered with Charitybuzz, Jason Markk, and the family of SP Gina to auction off her collection of Jordan Brand and Nike shoes: Charitybuzz.com/SPGina.
This special auction is dedicated to the memory of the one-of-a-kind sneakerhead, influencer and elementary school teacher, Virginia ‘SP Gina’ Wright. Sadly, we lost Gina in 2023. Gina had over 200 pairs that she lovingly wore and collected over the years, including her own custom Shoe Palace x Jordan sneaker from 2019 – Air Jordan 1 HI OG. Gina remains the only non-celebrity to receive her own shoe from the Jordan brand.
Jason Markk took the time to clean and refresh each pair as close to new as possible. Gina’s collection is going up for auction on April 2nd, to help continue her legacy of giving back to students. Proceeds from the auction will go to a San Jose State University scholarship fund in honor of Gina. Gina believed strongly in education, and was a San Jose State alum, so her family felt this was the best way to celebrate her life.
“Gina clearly left an indelible mark on her students and on the global sneaker community, and we’re honored to help continue her legacy through this Shoe Palace collaboration,” said Charitybuzz CEO Ben Erwin. “We look forward to auctioning the collection to raise important funds for Gina’s scholarship at San Jose State.”
