Pop Star, Reneé Rapp

Broadway Beginnings 

Reneé Rapp is now a well-known pop artist amongst many Gen-Z individuals, but got her start on a different kind of stage. The singer started her music career in her school’s theater program. 

She also shared her strong voice online, which caught many people's attention. Her talent was recognized, and she was invited to the tenth annual Jimmy Awards. At eighteen, she won “Best Performance by an Actress.” 

After this big win, Rapp performed for many theater companies. In 2019, she got her big break. 

It was announced that she would take over the role of Regina George in Broadway’s Mean Girls. She kept playing this role until Broadway shut down due to COVID-19 in 2020. She then reprised the part in the 2024 remake of Mean Girls. After this film, Rapp shared her decision to step away from acting and focus on her musical career fully in the future. 

Pop Stardom 

The artist released her first EP, Everything to Everyone, in 2022, which was followed by her first tour. The tour turned out to be a sold-out success with upgraded venues and extra shows added to accommodate the demand. 

Her much-anticipated debut album, Snow Angel, came out in 2023. It won her the award for Outstanding Music Artist at the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards. She also received a nomination for Favorite Debut Album at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Following her album’s success, she was awarded Favorite Breakout Artist at the 2024 USA Kids’ Choice Awards. 

Rapp is likely to release more popular songs. Her hits include “Tummy Hurts” and “Not My Fault,” which features Megan Thee Stallion. 

Her new album, Bite Me, will be released soon. She has gained popularity for her music and impressive singing skills. People also love her fun personality. 

Rapp is now known for her strong self-confidence and bold attitude. She has gained a large following in recent years, and it will likely keep growing.
