Kim Kardashian, Skims & Nike
American businesswoman and media personality Kim Kardashian’s clothing brand Skims is partnering with Nike to release their first footwear collaboration. This new collection will debut the NikeSKIMS Rift Mesh which will feature Nike’s popular split toe shoe model designed with Skims comfort-enhancing technology. This technology allows the stylish shoe to be both for the streets as well as the gym.

The collaboration will be available for purchase on January 26th in three color ways including Velvet Brown, Archaeo Brown, and Black. The colors were chosen for versatility and casual, everyday wear. The look of the kicks fit perfectly into modern fashion, guaranteeing that they will immediately fly off the shelves.
2019
Skims, co-founded in 2019 by Kardashian and Swedish entrepreneur Jens Grede, has never had a line of shoes before as they focus heavily on clothing and shapewear. In 2022, Skims made it on TIME's List of 100 Most Influential Companies of the year.
Many of the brand’s products have gone viral including pieces like the Skim’s dress. Its initial launch sold out in ten minutes and racked in $2 million in profits.
The brand has amassed a loyal fanbase of buyers, clearing new products off the website no matter how unconventional. Due to this high volume of sales, the company is now worth an impressive $5 billion. Skims has also done a number of other high-profile collaborations.
2021
In 2021 the brand partnered with the United States Olympic team to provide both Team USA and Skims brand athletic wear to its athletes. The same year they partnered with Fendi, a luxury Italian fashion house, to create a line of FENDI x SKIMS dresses, swimwear, and shapewear. In 2023 they partnered with both the NBA and WNBA, helping gain the brand even more media exposure.
