Homies Comes To Shoe Palace In a Brand New Collaboration
Los Angeles, Ca – 2.8.2025 - Homies has been a celebrated piece of the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Southwestern Chicano and Lowrider Car Culture for decades now.
It was created by artist David Gonzales. Homies was a staple at swap meets and car show circuits in the 90s. Homies toys, tiny, stylized figurines, were an affordable and fun collectible for young and old to enjoy. Gonzales built not just a Homies merchandise empire, but also a vessel for turning the turbulent times of the streets into something humorous and uplifting.
Gonzales work emphasizes California urban culture, which is close to the heart of Shoe Palace. Shoe Palace is highlighting the work of Gonzales with a new Shoe Palace x Homies collab. The exclusive collection takes the work of Gonzales and brings it to life on apparel that can only be found at Shoe Palace.
