Two Premium Designs Pay Tribute to The Greatest; Community Gym Refurbishment and Celebration Event Announced

SAN JOSE, CA (December 2025) - Shoe Palace, in partnership with adidas and the Muhammad Ali Estate, proudly announces the release of the adidas Superstar x Muhammad Ali SMU, an exclusive footwear collection created to honor the legendary athlete’s enduring impact both inside and outside the ring.

The collection features two unique pairs of Superstars, each elevated through premium materials, heritage craftsmanship, and special detailing inspired by Muhammad Ali’s legacy.

The White/Black Premium Leather Superstar is crafted with elevated soft leather, the pair pays homage to Ali’s timeless style and global influence on sport and culture. The execution incorporates distinct left/right construction meant to highlight contrast, craft, and storytelling.

The pair features intentionally mismatched construction to highlight craft and storytelling. The left shoe carries black patent leather stripes on the lateral side, tonal distressed white leather stripes on the medial side, and a leather-wrapped shell toe. The right shoe contrasts with black smooth leather stripes on the lateral side, while the medial side features no overlay stripes, instead showcasing direct-stitched detailing. It includes a rubber shell toe tonal to the midsole, a filled and backed smooth-leather white stitched-down woven label, and a seamless fat tongue stamped with a butterfly on the back (the production right shoe will feature a bee). Additional finishing touches include contrast stitching, a vintage-white leather-wrapped shell toe, and debossed text on the lateral heel.

The Friends & Family Brown Leather Superstar is built with rich brown leather inspired by the look and feel of vintage boxing gloves, this limited pair celebrates Ali’s roots, grit, and authenticity.
