The Life

Kelce was born on October 5, 1989. He is from Westlake, Ohio and comes from a family of athletes. His brother, Jason Kelce, would also play in the NFL and is one of the top players in the annals of the sport as well. Travis and his brother played multiple sports growing up. Travis started out playing quarterback. Eventually, he moved to the Tight End position. He would play college football for the University of Cincinnati. There were struggles he dealt with at the school, both on the field and off. But after his senior season in 2012, Kelce was on the right path towards stardom.

NFL

In the 2013 NFL Draft, Kelce was picked by the Chiefs in the third round with the 63rd pick. His off the field issues were a big reason his stock was so low when it came to the draft. He was able to overcome all that adversity and prove the Chiefs right for drafting him. When it comes to the tight end position, Kelce is one of the all-time greats. His speed, and knack for reading coverages, has made him a headache for defenses for years now. His partnership with his good friend, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is a legendary one when it comes to a passer and a receiver. Kelce has put together a string of incredible seasons when it comes to receiving yards for a tight end. Kelce being a part of two Super Bowl winning teams truly puts him in the company of the elite offensive players in the history of the NFL.

Off The Field

Kelce has always had a big personality. His charisma, style and charm have allowed him to shine on talk shows, have his own podcast and even host Saturday Night Live. His personal life, with him currently dating Taylor Swift, arguably the biggest star on earth, has taken his fame to a whole new level. Travis Kelce is one of the most talented and interesting figures currently in pop culture.
