Scooby-Doo has been a part of endless childhoods and has become a household name because of this. The series follows a group of teens called the Mystery Inc. gang. This group includes the famous Daphne Blake, Fred Jones, Velma Dinkley, Shaggy Rogers, and Scooby-Doo. They work together to catch criminals behind what seem to be supernatural cases.

Since the original animated television series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! aired from 1969 to 1970, many adaptations have been made. These new versions allow younger generations to enjoy the show.
Movies
The 2000s were a big time for Scooby. The live-action Scooby-Doo film came out in 2002. It had a star-studded cast. This cast included Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Linda Cardellini.
This film was followed by a sequel called Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004). It took the audience on another spooky adventure with the gang. Both films got low ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. However, fans love them, and they are important to 2000s pop culture.
Sequels
A second set of live-action films came out at the end of the 2000s. They had a new cast, but these movies did not get much attention. The adaptations did not stop in the 2000s. In 2010, Gen Z’s Scooby-Doo series Scooby-Doo!
Mystery Incorporated released on Cartoon Network, airing new episodes until 2013. This series featured a new cartoon style for the characters and took a spookier approach with many of the stories. Matthew Lillard also reprised his role as Shaggy as his voice actor for this series.
Legacy
Along with Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, several cartoon movies came out. Each movie has a fun and spooky story. They also helped the franchise reach younger audiences.
Scooby-Doo is still being adapted and celebrated today. It keeps adding new content that people will enjoy for years.
