In 2023, Shoe Palace celebrated 30 years in business—a milestone built on vision, resilience, and community.

Founder Agob Mersho came to the United States from Syria in 1978, determined to build a better life for his wife and five children. After 15 years of hard work, setbacks, and persistence, that dream became reality when the first Shoe Palace store opened in California’s Bay Area in 1993.
