Toy Story Series

The Toy Story franchise began in 1995. It was created by Pixar and released by Walt Disney Studios. The films are widely regarded as some of the greatest animated movies of all time.

Toy Story was the first fully computer-animated feature film, revolutionizing animation and changing the way family movies are made. It was a massive box office success and launched a franchise that continues to thrive today.

The core idea—that toys come to life when humans aren’t around—is simple yet brilliant. It’s a premise that feels universal, as nearly everyone has experienced playing with toys and imagining their hidden lives.

Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen)—the loyal cowboy and heroic space ranger—have been the heart of the series from the very beginning.

So far, four Toy Story films have been released, with the fifth opening soon. Each installment has successfully expanded the original story while also connecting with a new generation of children. At the same time, it continues to resonate with longtime fans, many of whom have grown up alongside the series.
