Family Business
The rising star was born on 12.27.1999. He is from Arizona. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback comes from a family of athletes.
His father played baseball in college and in the minor leagues. His siblings also played college sports. Purdy would attend Iowa State University and would break school records as a quarterback. His talent was evident, and he showed he had what it took to play professional football.
NFL
Purdy was selected by the 49ers with the 262nd pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Little was expected of Purdy, going so low in the draft. But he would quickly have his number called and he would succeed beyond anyone’s expectations.
In the 49ers' 2022 NFC Wild Card playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks, Purdy made history. He became the first rookie to score four touchdowns in a postseason game.
Future
The San Francisco 49ers have consistently been one of the leading teams in the NFL the last few seasons. They have one of the most talented rosters on both sides of the ball in the entire league. Purdy is only 24 years old, and he has already established himself as one of the top guys in the game. He should only improve in the coming years, and at his age, he has a chance to rank against the all-time greats when his career is over.
