Nike Air Diamond Fury
The Nike Air Diamond Fury originally launched in 1995. Despite it not being an official signature sneaker, it is heavily tied to Ken Griffey Jr. The shoe would be released in Mariners colors, Griffey’s team, which would help strengthen its connection to the all-star.
Nike Air Griffey Max 1
Jr. teamed up with designer Terry Teague for the Air Griffey Max 1. Griffey wanted a special design for his first signature shoe. Griffey and Teague made sure the Air Griffey Max 1 worked as a casual shoe, and as a performance model.
Nike Air Griffey Max 2
The Nike Air Griffey Max 2 made its debut in 1997. It was released after the successful launch of the Griffey 1. The sneakers were different than the 1 in terms of shape and style. It had carbon fiber on the upper and air units on the lower part of the silhouette. The 2 was designed by Tracy Teague.
Nike Air Griffey 3
The Nike Air Griffey 3 would be released in 1998. It followed two successful signature models from Nike and The Kid. The III was an interesting shoe as far as design is concerned, it was incredibly unique. There was a medial to lateral cross strap and asymmetrical lacing system.
Nike Total Air Griffey Max
The Swingman is one of the most recognizable Nike logos. It would be used many times on Nike’s Ken Griffey Jr. line. The Total Air Griffey Max was released in 1999. It featured the chunky styling that was popular in the 1990s. It has Max Air cushion and a stylish wave on the lateral sides.
Nike Shox Ken Griffey Jr.
In 2002, Nike continued Griffey’s signature line by using Shox tech. Shox was very popular around this time for Nike. The BB4 & R4 used Shox tech and were highly regarded styles. The Shox Ken Griffey Jr. shoes came equipped with the iconic Ken Griffey Jr. Swingman' logo on tongue.
Nike Air Griffey Max 360
The Nike Air Griffey Max 360 is a low cut silhouette. It features a 360 Air Max bubble for comfort. They have the famous Griffey branding on the heel. The shoe utilizes hyperfused material and 360 Air Max cushioning. The shoe offers a lightweight and supportive fit.
