Football Star, Shedeur Sanders

Shedeur Sanders is one of the most talked about players in the NFL. The rookie QB just got his first start of his career on November 23, 2025. He was electric for his Cleveland Browns and fans are excited about what he will do next as a starting quarterback in the NFL.

College Football

Few quarterbacks accomplished more in college football than Sanders. He is one of the most decorated college QBs of all time. He played in 50 games in four seasons.

Among his biggest accomplishments is throwing a touchdown in 49 straight games. That is the longest streak in NCAA D1 history.

He divided his college career between Jackson State and Colorado. In 2021 and 2022 he played for Jackson where he impressed.

In 2023 and 2024, he played for Colorado. His profile grew larger because of the attention on the team. This was mainly due to the coach, who is Shedeur's father.

Coach Prime

Deion Sanders, known as Prime Time, made an interesting choice when he became the Head Coach at Jackson State University in 2020. In 2022, after tremendous success at Jackson State University, he would move to the University of Colorado. His son, who was playing for him at Jackson State, would follow Deion to the University of Colorado. Deion brought the program a level of notoriety that only a star of his status could.

He has also caused controversy, due to Coach Prime being very much the same person as the player, Prime Time. He is still just as confident and flashy as he was on the foot-ball field and baseball diamond.

Like Father, Like Son

Shedeur has the same flamboyance and showmanship as his father. He also shares his immense talent. Shedeur is a gifted and skilled QB. He has poise, accuracy and the in-tangibles it takes to be a great quarterback.

Controversy

Some if the football world had a problem with the confidence Shedeur played with. They also had issues with his dad and his coaching style.

Because of this, Shedeur would go much lower in the NFL Draft than anyone antici-pated. He would not be taken until the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns. This was much, much lower than anyone would have expected.

Today

Sanders showed a lot of promise in his first NFL start. Motivation should not be a prob-lem for the quarterback, he has a lot to prove. Shedeur Sanders has all the tools to be a great NFL player.
