2026 Style: What’s Next.

2025 Recap

2025 was a year of many standout sneakers. There was truly something for everyone.

Some buyers loved the lace-covered Adidas Gazelles and the leopard print Adidas Sambas. Others praised the comfort of the bright Hoka running shoes. Jordan brand ended the year strong with the Air Jordan 11 Retro Gamma drop, completely selling out on the Shoe Palace website.

Many of the shows in 2025 added bright colors to everyday outfits. These colors often stood out in the overall look. Moving into 2026 we might be seeing something slightly different.

What’s Next?

One thing we are not moving on from 2026 is the beloved sleek and minimalistic silhouette. A lot of these options have and will continue to be put out by Puma and Adidas. In women’s fashion, ballerina sneakers will continue to prevail. We cannot seem to shake the low to the ground look just yet.

While some similarities like this are guaranteed, you should expect to see a handful of changes as well. We are going to see both barely-there and chunky platforms, but with the same shared not too over the top silhouette.

Many of the retro attributes are turning into more futuristic models. Silver, creams, and earthy tones are replacing primary colors. These colors will accompany materials such as mesh, suede, and more athletic looks.

As sporty footwear becomes more mainstream. You can continue to keep an eye on Hoka and Asics for your next favorite athletic sneaker.

So how can we summarize the wave of upcoming 2026 sneaker trends? Not sacrificing style for comfort.

Just like 2025, there should be something new for everyone. Many of these shoes will blend seamlessly into your everyday attire, saving you the hassle of buying more than one or two pairs. 2026 is all about practicality, comfort, and neutrals.
